  DENVER DUMB FRIENDS LEAGUE - THE FURRY SCURRY

Since 1910, the Dumb Friends League has been committed to the welfare of companion animals in the Rocky Mountain Region. This organization accepts all companion animals that come to our door including dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, birds, and other small mammals, which have been owner-surrendered, lost, or abandoned.

  CYSTIC FIBROSIS FOUNDATION - GREAT STRIDES

TIA is supporting Team Lexton in the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation's Great Strides fundraising campaign. Great Strides is a 6.2 mile walk/run to raise money to cure cystic fibrosis. GREAT STRIDES, now in its sixteenth year, is the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation's largest and fastest growing fund-raiser nationwide. Lexton is 5 years old and suffering from Cystic Fibrosis. Team Lexton will be participating in GREAT STRIDES, in Collin County, Texas.

 TRI FOR THE CURE:  Susan G. Koman Breast Cancer Foudation

Tri for the Cure provides a multi-sport event for women with the cause at heart. Train and participate with your friends while supporting the race to end breast cancer.

Tri for the Cure will donate a portion of the proceeds to the Denver Metropolitan Affiliate of the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation.

2005 DANSKIN WOMAN'S TRIATHLON SERIES: Breast Cancer Research Foundation

After a successful 2004 season, Danskin is once again proud to announce that The Breast Cancer Research Foundation will be the Official Charity for the 2005 Danskin Women's Triathlon Series. Danskin will donate 10% of all entry fees received to this outstanding organization. The Breast Cancer Research Foundation was founded in 1993 by Evelyn H. Lauder, as an independent, not-for-profit organization dedicated to funding innovative clinical and genetic research. The Foundation supports scientists at leading medical centers worldwide whose research is focused on achieving prevention and a cure for breast cancer in our lifetime. A minimum of 85 cents of each dollar donated to The Foundation goes directly to breast cancer research and awareness programs. Over $18 million was awarded to the 2004-2005 grantees - 97 researchers across the U.S. and in Canada, Belgium, France, Israel, Spain and the United Kingdom. Money magazine named BCRF one of America's eight top charities and The Foundation continues to receive the highest ratings from Charity Navigator, four stars, and the American Institute of Philanthropy, an "A."
