INSTRUCTIONAL DESIGNERS

TIA has Web-based training (WBT), virtual Instructor-led training (VILT), and Instructor-led training (ILT) development projects. TIA is looking for people who are knowledgeable in Instructional Design methodologies and know how to design adult learning events, from course development through assessment. Additionally, we are looking for Instructional Designers who have Web design and simulation development experience, using Web-development software, such as Dreamweaver or Flash, as well as any of the many learning management system (LMS) software tools. Successful candidates must have a PC and meet the IRS guidelines for independent contractors.
Job Skills:
- Experienced in Instructional Design techniques and ISD methodology
- Strong writing skills - knowledgeable of grammar, spelling, and punctuation
- Experience building successful learning events and the supporting trainer and participant materials

We are looking for people who are knowledgeable in content development, and have expertise in designing, researching, writing, and editing information materials, such as business policies and procedures and software documentation to product collateral. Job Skills:
Prospective candidates must have the following skills:
- A proven track record of establishing and maintaining strong customer relationships.
- Direct management experience with project teams, and an understanding of how to resource projects, as well as to manage the costs, hours, scopes and project risks.
- Good judgment with excellent communication skills, outgoing personalities, and the ability to manage multiple project teams -- from 3 to 15 team members per team.
- Technical writing or instructional designer teams management.
- Sound knowledge of the processes and methodologies for developing quality user documentation and training materials.
